Abstract: Abstract Software and IT Governance is never in place from the beginning of a companies lifecycle. It evolves over time. This chapter takes inspiration from patterns observed in the world of economics and applies them in the software development world. Initial impact for the software development and the role of a software architect are discussed in this chapter.
