Chapter Chapter 18 in The Road to a Modern IT Factory, 2014, pp 137-144 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Sourcing strategies determine the success of outsourcing. The essential element of a single-sourcing strategy is the right combination of onsite and near- or offshore activities. After years of successful near- and offshoring, companies are beginning to consider how the efficiency and cooperation inherent to a distributed delivery network can be developed further into a true global alliance.
