Vision of Efficient Processes

Chapter 1 in A Holistic Approach to Process Optimisation, 2021, pp 3-14 from Springer
Abstract:
Summary The constant change in the economic environment of a company has a strong impact on existing work processes. Companies are therefore required to constantly rethink their processes and adapt them accordingly. The aim is to increase the added value for customers and to eliminate existing waste as far as possible. In the last century, various improvement methods have emerged, such as Kaizen or Six Sigma, which aim to continuously and sustainably optimise work processes in line with customer needs.
