The “Concept” Phase

Abstract: Abstract During the concept phase, different solutions are developed and evaluated. Implementation plans are drawn up for the selected alternatives. To the extent that it is possible, the needs of all interest groups should be covered. In doing so, it is important to be aware of your own social conventions. For large projects, the “concept” phase can be split into a main project and a detail project. Splitting the phase up creates an additional milestone. This prevents the project team from straying away from the path. At each milestone, the project owner decides which of the alternatives should be pursued. He also authorises the resources for the next phase.
