Chapter 12 in The Timeless Principles of Successful Business Strategy, 2017, pp 113-114 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This book provides some important lessons from the study of existing sustainable firms and it paints a description of the “ideal” leadership required to turn a company on a successful track of long term performance. However, those lessons should not be mimicked blindly; they should be thought over by any business leader who aims to build a sustainable company. There is no magic and general formula to achieve success because each firm and each situation is unique. Achieving corporate sustainability require strong strategic thinking and effective implementation with a personalized perspective, completed with the stimulating insights from the experience of successful sustainable firms.
