Chapter 12 in Eastern and Cross Cultural Management, 2012, pp 107-111 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Building effective management also depends, to a great extent, on self-learning by managers. There are various ways to develop one’s competence. One of the most effective ways of self-development, however, is a relatively neglected one in modern western management development literature. It is the use of introspection as a tool for self-development.
