Chapter 9 in Managing the Reality of Virtual Organizations, 2016, pp 181-202 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The quest for finding out the factors that are critical to the success of VOs continues. Multiple levels of analysis, done on a large sample of over 1000 employees across six organizations, help to unearth these. This chapter deals with the first phase of the data analysis and the results of the tests of hypotheses. It begins with univariate analysis on the data to understand broad patterns at the construct level and to check for completeness of data. This is followed by the testing of hypotheses. ANOVA is used to check the impact, if any, of the demographic and other distance variables on the dependent construct. The relationship between the other hypothesized independent constructs and KTE is examined using correlations in this phase of data analysis.
