Abstract: Abstract Companies can realize significant bottom line improvement by streamlining and realigning the procurement process to reduce costs associated with the supply chain of the procured products and services. This requires management to build cooperative efforts across internal functions and seek collaborations with external business partners to weed out the inefficiencies in the supply chain. Especially on supply chain of inputs yield essential to maintaining the competitive advantage.
