Chapter Chapter 18 in Technology for Innovation, 2021, pp 467-483 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, we will explore the main ideas of Technology for Innovation. We will discuss how to use all the parts of TRIZ in combination with other proven design development methods. We will review the best practices of effective project teams for system development and problem-solving. We call this process Technology for Innovation. Technology for Innovation is applying through Innovation Roadmaps for Project Creation and Problem-Solving. Innovation Roadmap is a complete set of tools for the conceptual stage of product/process/service design. Included in our most complete Innovation Roadmap, along with TRIZ components, are the following methods and processes: Project Scenario; Root Cause Analysis; (RCA); System Function Analysis (Value Analysis and Value Engineering); Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA); Hybrid (Alternative) System Design; Trimming; Concepts Evaluation and Selection; Hybrid Concept Design; Concepts Scenario.
