Abstract:
Abstract The concept of “Internet plus medical and health” is the foundation of the project of Affiliated Hospital of Jiangsu University Internet hospital(AHJU online). It was applied information technology to build a complete intelligent medical platform. From the perspective of the development of management information system, this case describes the independent construction process of this project by using six stages of the lifecycle method. Based on offline medical resources, the medical services were expanded through Internet tools, and intelligent management carried out for online patients’ medical treatment using the Pugh analysis. After reading this case, readers can learn about hospital information management and the process of transforming a hospital into an Internet plus medical care hospital which is totally focused on patients’ needs. Readers can familiarize themselves with the information systems, information-systems-based business process and obtain particular point for the planning, designing, and implementing of general management information systems.
