Abstract: Abstract Beijing Snow Lotus Biology Co. Ltd., founded in 2010, now includes Beijing Lotus Island Technology Development Co., Ltd (Lotus Island). The Chinese translation of "Lotus Island" is pronounced as "Lian Xiang Dao". “Lian” means purity and innocence; “Xiang” means healthy women; “Dao” means privacy and female groups, so “Lian Xiang Dao” means a lovely harbor and sweet home for women who are tired of their busy lives. Lotus Island has helped thousands of women start their own businesses successfully. This case not only describes the compay's fundamental objective, developmental process, and business model, but also discusses the successful ways of establishing a company based on technological products and an inspiring narrative of technological innovation in the digital economy. This case can inspire readers to consider a company transformation under a specific circunstance.
