A chapter in Casebook of Chinese Business Management, 2022, pp 9-23 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This case begins with the entrepreneurial process of the Guizhou Qianzhiguan Tea Manufacturing Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. (Qianzhiguan). It describes how the enterprise sticks to its original mission when encountering difficulties in the industry and how it uses “Internet plus” agriculture to upgrade the tea industry in Guizhou. Finally, the case describes three strategic choices for resource integration in Qianzhiguan. Through the case study and discussion, students can learn how to formulate a strategy from the perspective of industrial development and identify the right starting point to integrate resources in the initial stages of an enterprise like Qianzhiguan. In the context of Internet plus agricultural development, it is necessary to fully understand the development orientation of agricultural start-ups and build a theoretical and practical foundation for transforming and upgrading the agricultural industry.
