Chapter Chapter 7 in People Analytics, 2022, pp 113-133 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract From Glassdoor reviews to the “Great Place to Work” awards, the corporate world has developed a keen interest in gauging, rewarding and publicizing the health of company cultures. However, beyond offering great opportunities for PR, fostering internal engagement and employee satisfaction is good business. A study by consulting firm Kotter shows that companies with performance-enhancing cultures that “facilitate adaptation to a changing world” see a fourfold increase in revenue growth. Further, for those in the hunt for great talent, a widely quoted 2012 study by Corporate Responsibility Magazine revealed that 69% of respondents would take the reputation of the organization into account before applying for a job even if they were currently without one.
