Abstract:
Abstract The chapter will introduce the concept of decision-making in project organizations. The chapter will introduce different types of decisions, different decision-making styles, and cognitive biases. The chapter will conclude by discussing how to effectively communicate the decision using an advocacy-inquiry matrix. In the previous chapters, you have learned about your personality types, your cognitive style, and your emotional intelligence. In this chapter, we will discuss making decision in project organizations. Project managers make decisions to move the project forward towards final delivery.
