Abstract: Abstract In the last decades, several different research questions arose in the area of water distribution systems. To evaluate the new models, techniques and solution methods, there is need of a large range of test models. In most research work the evaluation is performed on simple generated networks with no realistic size and properties. In this work, we present a generator for water network models, which can be used for the evaluation of new models and solution methods. The generator can create network models with arbitrary size and realistic properties.
