Abstract: Abstract The paper aims to provide a proposal of training in topics for the curriculum sustainability of the program of engineering in systems of the escuela superior de cómputo of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, México. In this sense, the Educational Model of the National Polytechnic Institute seeks to contribute to the sustainable development of the nation. For the purposes of this research, we previously conducted an investigation of teachers’ sustainability competencies, training received and implementation in the learning units via random sampling interviewing. This allowed us to validate the need to develop a training proposal that gives the teachers the basis to include it in their practice, since the process of redesigning takes place.
