Abstract:
Abstract Using the resource-based view theory, this study investigates the relationship among green training, knowledge application, green innovation, and organizational environmental performance in Vietnam. Comprising 239 valid responses from diverse organizations (public, commercial, and international enterprises), cross-sectional analysis was applied to the dataset using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The research reveals a positive relationship between knowledge application, green innovation, environmental performance, while noting the lack of significance between green training and environmental performance. By examining the interplay of knowledge application and green training on green innovation and environmental performance, the study expands the resource-based view theory and provides empirical evidence on enablers of environmental performance in Vietnam.
