Abstract: Abstract Software engineering talents training is the foundation of the development of Chinese software industry. This article demonstrates the software training goals for undergraduate students in the school of software engineering of Chongqing University, and put forwards the software talents training program based on progressive practice teaching system. Through a series of integrated courses on project practice and training, the program aims to cultivate software engineering talents of “compound, application—oriented, international” characteristics to meet the development of Chinese software industry.
