Chapter Chapter 3 in Intangible Asset Gap in Global Competitiveness, 2021, pp 37-50 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Current and upcoming developments are raising the importance of IC. As observed in the previous section, advanced nations like Sweden depend on intangibles for more than 70% of value created. At an enterprise level, more than 80% of organisational value are represented by intangibles today, a complete reversal of the situation just forty years ago when this same value was driven instead by tangible assets. Clearly, IC is increasingly becoming a key enabler for future prosperity.
