Chapter Chapter 5 in The Potential Impact of E-Mobility on the Automotive Value Chain, 2022, pp 49-53 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter will outline who the new entrants of the automobile industry are and which new concept and services they are providing to the industry. As analyzed within the previous chapters, the global electric vehicle sales will surpass the sales of conventional internal combustion engines between 2030 and 2040. In this pace of change, new entrants from cross-industries like technology companies, mobility providers, specialized suppliers, and energy providers are implementing new products and services to the automobile market.
