Chapter Chapter 4 in Lifestyle Entrepreneurship in Tourism, 2025, pp 27-31 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This section underscores the inherent connection between entrepreneurial motivation and the defining characteristics of lifestyle entrepreneurship. As previously established, these individuals effectively integrate personal passions, skills, and hobbies into their business pursuits. Supporting this notion, Dias et al. (2023), in their pioneering research on nascent entrepreneurship within the tourism and hospitality sector, identify personal circumstances as key drivers, including individual interests and experiences, which, while influential in shaping entrepreneurial endeavors, may simultaneously limit the perception of a broader range of opportunities.
