Chapter Chapter 2 in The Rocky Road to Publishing in the Management and Decision Sciences and Beyond, 2013, pp 9-15 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract When observing the users of interactive multiple criteria decision support systems (MCDSS) we came across behavior that seemed to contradict classical assumptions in normative decision theory and economics. This made us aware of the importance of behavioral aspects in developing various procedures for solving multiple criteria problems. Although many decision anomalies were known to behavioral decision theorists, their research had virtually no impact on developing realistic MCDSS.
