Support Roles and Behaviors
Andres R. Sanchez
Chapter Chapter 7 in Technical Support Essentials, 2009, pp 141-159 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The topic of support management could fill a whole book and much more. I don’t have the luxury of devoting this entire book to the topic, but rather included ten topics that deal with the roles, management, and some behaviors in the support organization. The topics are by no means exhaustive because there are endless possibilities for research in this area. Specifically, the chapter covers topics such as the role of support managers, systems theory, recognition and management support strategy and other topics of interest to the support practitioner.
