Chapter Chapter 15 in Lessons in Project Management, 2011, pp 63-66 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Status meetings are essential to ensure that the project team and the client maintain healthy and open communication and to ensure everyone’s expectations are in sync. Even many of the light agile project methodologies rely on frequent, short team meetings to share information and status. A traditional status meeting usually includes the project team members. The meeting can also include clients (the people gaining the benefit of the project) and perhaps even the sponsor. Because many of the project decision makers are there, these meetings may seem like a good time to resolve open issues and action items.
