Abstract:
Abstract Collecting meaningful data to help make business decisions is a good thing. In fact, most organizations would be better off if they had more information about how they are doing their jobs. However, the value attained by collecting this information has to be analyzed in light of the costs of collecting this information. It’s a problem if the time and cost to collect the data is greater than the value of the resulting information.
