Chapter Chapter 5 in Wine Tourism Destination Management and Marketing, 2019, pp 67-70 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this empirical research study was to examine demographic and behavioural characteristics and motivations of wine travellers in rural Northeast Iowa. While wine tasting appeared to be the main motive for visiting the wineries, scenery and landscape of the Upper Mississippi River, along with the opportunity to enjoy time with friends and family and taste local foods, scored similarly high.
