Abstract This chapter discusses how social commerce is currently being used in industry and its future potential, bringing together the key themes of this book. The challenges of social commerce for brands will be considered as well as the opportunities that the technology holds for the future. This chapter will conclude with a discussion of the directions for future research in social commerce.
