Chapter Chapter 14 in Media and Change Management, 2022, pp 249-265 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Essays on the right to privacy now include by default the observation that privacy is more at risk than ever. This is due to technological progress, which has made the threat decentralized and ubiquitous, and assaults are cheap for everyone. In addition, many are highly permissive with data from their private lives. Has privacy protection, therefore, become obsolete? Not at all. Apart from a core area of privacy that is considered to be unalterably protected, it must be constantly redefined in view of the dynamics of developments. This article attempts to make the contours of privacy protected by fundamental rights visible.
