Chapter Chapter 5 in Post-Heroic Leadership, 2022, pp 123-131 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract From the organizational point of view, sustainable development goals do not put enough emphasis on sustainability in the workplace. Post-heroic leadership practices can help make leadership more sustainable. Their use can ensure employee well-being and prevent overexploitation of human resources. Inadequate leadership practices can pose a major risk for well-being of both leaders and followers. The importance of stakeholders is discussed, for both leaders and followers. The resilience of a leader is built in cooperation with other team members, and they should exercise servant and shared leadership behaviours and ensure psychological safety of their followers.
