Chapter 4 in The Strategy Planning Process, 2022, pp 27-31 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter deals with strategic documents. Section 4.1 distinguishes five categories of documents: (1) Mission statements, (2) Corporate strategies, (3) Business strategies, (4) Functional strategies, and (5) Strategic project plans. It is explained which content is essential in each of these five categories of documents. With the help of an example, Sect. 4.2 then shows how a company can combine these documents in practice.
