A chapter in Mass Customization and Customer Centricity, 2023, pp 275-312 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter provides an overview of the research activities of Prof. Cipriano Forza. The purpose of this research is to map the bibliometric information and network analysis of his papers published from 1992 to 2021. A systematic literature review approach is employed in this research. Specifically, a list of 74 publications was first retrieved from Scopus. In order to confirm that there were no missing papers, we cross-checked the articles with the corresponding list on Google Scholar. Finally, 64 journal articles were identified and downloaded for further analysis, including 61 papers from the Scopus database and 3 other papers added from Google Scholar. With regard to the methods, this work employs the bibliometric and co-citation analysis within the 64 journal papers published between 1992 and 2021. Utilizing the BibExcel and VOSviewer software, we identified and visualized interesting bibliometric and co-citation information, including statistics on the most popular outlets, affiliations, co-authors, and state of citations. Through conducting the systematic review, we synthesized the findings and provided a critical account of the latest state of play of the publications. Our findings show an increase in published papers after 2000. Most of them are relevant to mass customization, postponement, product configuration, and customer requirements.
