Chapter Chapter 12 in The Evolution of Made in Italy, 2023, pp 121-133 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The market has never posed as many challenges as it does today and 2020 will be remembered as one of the years that changed the world, in a radical way. Only those companies that will be able to anticipate, adapt, and keep up with changes by satisfying consumers’ new expectations will be able to survive successfully. To give a new impetus to the Made in Italy F&B sector, a pillar of the Italian economy, it is necessary for companies to reinterpret the concept of business excellence by incorporating new key elements such as sustainability, transparency, digital, technology, and authenticity. It is essential for companies to use the heritage of Made in Italy traditions to think in new ways, aware that today’s best innovations will constitute tomorrow’s tradition.
