Chapter Chapter 2 in The Evolution of Made in Italy, 2023, pp 5-15 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract When someone is asked about Made in Italy the first thing that comes to mind are top fashion brands, wine, art, food and supercars; and words that are usually associated with Made in Italy are style, craftsmanship, superb taste, beauty, know-how, dolce vita and so on. However, there is more to this brand. It is, in fact, an intangible infrastructure whose potential is partially unexplored (Carcano and Lojacono, Made in Italy industries, BUP EGEA, 2018). The chapter aims to define the relationship of Made in Italy and the food & beverage industry and provide an industry outlook.
