Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to assess the effectiveness of talent management in improving performance in Egyptian travel agencies. The chapter also seeks to study the function of strategic agility as a mediator in the link between talent management and performance. To meet the chapter’s purposes, a questionnaire was constructed to collect study data from a random sample of Egyptian travel agency employees; 697 questionnaires were issued, but only 588 were analysed. According to the study findings, talent management contributes to improved strategic agility and performance. The findings also revealed that strategic agility has a significant and positive impact on performance. Finally, the findings show that talent management influences performance in travel agencies via strategic agility as a mediator.
