Chapter Chapter 12 in The Palgrave Handbook of Antiracism in Human Resource Development, 2024, pp 205-221 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter answers the question: How is anti-racism work being implemented in the workplace? In this context, the workplace is the university classroom, as I prepare pre-service teachers to enter their future workplaces, ready to face issues of racism and injustice head-on and act as transformative educators. Issues of educational inequities have been present in society ever since the inception of formal schooling and it will take transformation in teacher preparation programs in order for real change to happen in PK-12 classrooms.
