Abstract:
Abstract Looking at one individual’s life through the prism of cultural ambiguity, identity-blending, duality, and interfacing with interactions from Black and White perspectives. Introducing the Nomad Racial Syndrome (NRS) to explain this phenomenon of in-betweenness and periodic isolation. Martin reveals patterns with his ancestors, honoring their legacy through using their actual names and birth locations and no pseudonyms. He also reviews his career path and discusses some of the racial incidents and racialized episodes in his journey.
