Abstract:
Abstract Uber, the ride-sharing platform heavily, relies on data analytics to drive operations, enhance customer experiences, optimize driver efficiency, and make data-driven decisions. Uber’s data analytics efforts span a wide range of areas, we discuss a few here. First, when demand for rides exceeds supply in particular areas, prices increase. This incentivizes more drivers to go to that location. This process called surge pricing or dynamic pricing helps balance supply and demand, ensuring that drivers are available during peak times. Uber adjusts prices based on traffic conditions and predictive modeling to estimate demand in real time.
