Chapter Chapter 9 in Strategic Management in the Wine Tourism Industry, 2024, pp 157-176 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Forecasting tourism is a widely published area with multiple methods employed across different types of tourism. On the other hand, forecasting wine tourism has not developed as far as forecasting other types of tourism. This chapter provides a systematic literature review of this area. The main contribution of this chapter is to offer a survey of methods with their benefits and limitations, as well as the suitability of methods that have not been employed in wine tourism yet. The chapter finishes with a framework for forecasting wine tourism.
