Chapter Chapter 10 in Loyalty Programs and the Currency Effect, 2025, pp 185-197 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the final chapter of the book, de Boer and Chin draw the conclusions enabled by the collected information and insights, offering practical takeaways for loyalty practitioners. Based on the review in the preceding chapters, they conclude that the concept of the currency effect will become even more relevant in the future, serving as an effective financial tool for many companies. De Boer and Chin establish that although loyalty programs are intrinsically linked to their sponsor, they may merit a dedicated and specialized management structure. They identify four potential strategies for loyalty currency management.
