Devon Gidley ()
Chapter Chapter 2 in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Indie Video Game Industry, 2025, pp 25-43 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The introduction of newcomers is identified as a crux event. The ethnographer joins the Quarry and deals with identity issues. The new cohort of companies tries to fit in. The original cohort deals with trust issues. The observers attempt change and fall short. Structure does not have total influence. Social aspects are required to create a community of help. Change can fail despite good timing.
