Chapter Chapter 2 in About Commerce, 2025, pp 9-17 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The chapter provides basic definitions of actors, roles, the symmetry and reversibility of those roles, as well as subjects and objects in the exchange relationship. A market relationship seems to require both objects and subjects. However, only objects are really necessary (and sufficient) because each partner is interested in the object in order to buy or sell it.
