Abstract: Abstract The aim of this chapter is to present place and role of the energy and climate revolution in the relevant literature. The adopted mechanisms of energy policy-making significantly impactImpact climate change in both negative and positive terms. Optimal power systems are sought by scientists and practitioners on a continuous basis. This is not an easy task because it depends on numerous variables determining the final results of these processesProcesses. The energy revolutionRevolution can be seen as a time of technological developmentTechnological development, with breakthrough development in the generation, transmission and use of energy, leading to a radical change in industry, transport and everyday life. This is happening in the world today through dynamic transformation processes. The energy transition visibly transforms the structure of energy mixes and gives them a different level of importance and impact on the economyEconomy, business and societySociety than before. This type of action is determined by expectations of a change of thinking in the field of reducing various types of emissions to the climate in global and local terms. Therefore, such activities should be based on the principles of scientific cognition. In this space, reliable and effective solutions can be developed to link fossil-fuel power generation with the principles and solutions of distributed energy.
