A chapter in Information Systems Outsourcing, 2009, pp 305-323 from Springer
Abstract:
In this chapter we overview the current state of IS research on offshoring by presenting summaries of manuscripts submitted for a Special Issue of the Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ) on the topic of IT offshoring, nine of which were eventually published in the special issue in 2008 (King W. R. and Torkzadeh 2008). In 2005 and until August 2006, papers on the topic of IT offshoring were invited to be submitted for this MISQ Special Issue under the guest editorship of the first two authors. The “call for papers” heavily emphasized a desire for empirical papers, although papers of other varieties were also considered.
