A chapter in Reputation Capital, 2009, pp 263-272 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Like corporations, national states, regions and cities are in regional as well as international competition. But complexity, diversity and the necessity of balancing a wide variety of conflicting interests make community reputation management – influencing public perceptions and actively shaping expectations – a particular challenge.
