Abstract: Abstract The biopharmaceutical industry is undergoing deep structural changes in the marketplace as is the legacy business model that supports it. To succeed in this turbulent climate, organizations will need “transformational” leaders, at all levels, skilled at adapting to rapid socio-technical change, anticipating disruptive events in the marketplace, and setting a shared inspirational vision for all colleagues.
