Chapter 6 in Knowledge Spaces, 2013, pp 93-113 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract ALEKS Corporation was founded in 1996 to develop and market educational services based on Knowledge Space Theory (KST), and its earliest products were Internet-delivered assessment and tutoring services for algebra and related areas of mathematics. These remain the bulk of its business. However, in 2005 ALEKS began the release of a new line of assessment and tutoring services in college general chemistry, which we’ll call “ALEKS Gen Chem.” Experiences from the development and deployment of this product line will be described here.
