Abstract: Zusammenfassung Ich vertrete ein Allgemeinbildungskonzept, das auf Entscheidungsfähigkeit und Kommunikationsfähigkeit mit ExpertInnen abzielt. Dieses Konzept soll hier kurz dargestellt und es sollen Konsequenzen für den Mathematikunterricht gezogen werden. Schließlich soll die Rolle von Mathematik in Entscheidungsprozessen grundsätzlich erörtert werden.
