Abstract: Zusammenfassung Fehlentscheidungen bei der Besetzung einer Stelle sind teuer und das nicht nur, wenn es um eine Führungsposition geht. Trotz großer Fortschritte, insbesondere in den letzten fünf bis zehn Jahren, ist gerade beim kleineren Mittelstand die Prozessqualität in der Personalauswahl oft noch ein Entwicklungsfeld. Das gilt einmal mehr, wenn sie mit dem Engagement für manch andere Investitionsentscheidung verglichen wird.
