Abstract: Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag beschreibt auf der Grundlage eines kybernetisch geprägten Managementverständnisses, wie Wertorientierung im Kontext von Innovationen gelingen kann. Drei zentrale Handlungsfelder des Controlling zur Bewältigung von Unsicherheit und Komplexität werden abgeleitet und am Beispiel der chemisch-pharmazeutischen Industrie konkretisiert.
