Meat Industry and Fisheries

Christian J. Jäggi ()

Chapter 4 in Nutrition, Food Markets and Agriculture, 2021, pp 77-86 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Over the past 20 years, global meat consumption has increased, but at different rates depending on the type of meat and the region. The greatest increase has been in poultry meat. On the production side, industrial meat production is predominant in many places. In addition, fishing grounds have changed, partly due to climate change and overfishing.
